A free and basic program to record data CDs and DVDs.

Freaky Burn is a fairly basic program for recording CDs and DVDs. Its interface couldn't be simpler, with buttons for essential functions. If you want a program to make recordings that's powerful, of course Freaky Burn isn't for you, because it's rather limited: you can only record data. Nor does it have support for formats such as ISO or to make copies of your drivers automatically.

However, if you want a free lightweight program, easy to use, this could be to your taste. You just have to select the files in Add Files and then select the recording speed, ranging from 2x to 48x. Then click the Burn button and that's it: the process is already underway.
